However, it is important to maintain realistic expectations that there may not necessarily be 100% reduction in cellulite appearance at the time of treatment. How Does Avéli Cellulite Reduction Work?

The appearance of cellulite is caused by fibrous connective tissue beneath the skin’s surface putting tension on the skin. Through research and innovation, Avéli has uncovered a lasting way to effectively remove cellulite by releasing the tension caused by this fibrous tissue. Avéli works by severing this connective tissue with precision to create a smoother look and feel. Local anesthetic will be administered before starting treatment. A limited number of small incisions will be made and the Avéli device will be inserted through the incisions and guided beneath the skin to target and release individual septae that creates cellulite dimples and causes the appearance of cellulite. While treatment time varies for each patient, average Avéli treatments are completed in about an hour.

Recovery & Results For Avéli Cellulite Reduction

Because this procedure takes place beneath the skin, some bruising and swelling after
treatment are expected. Minimal discomfort may occur for a few days after treatment. However, bruising and tenderness may remain for up to a month, as results begin to be seen. It may take 3 months or more for the swelling to subside and for the final results to be seen. Other possible complications will be discussed with you prior to your procedure.

Is Avéli only for cellulite reduction?

While Avéli has been monumental in the advance towards cellulite reduction, it does not address other areas of concern which are commonly associated with cellulite such as adiposity (fat tissue) and skin laxity or skin excess. VIVIFY proudly offers many other treatment options that we are confident will help with these concerns.

With Avéli we can usually achieve maximum results during a single, in-office procedure.

How long does an Avéli procedure take?

While treatment time varies for each patient, average Avéli treatments are completed in about an hour.

How soon after my procedure can I resume regular activities?

We recommend giving yourself time to heal and allowing around 2 weeks before returning to any strenuous activities or workouts.

How quickly will I see results?

Swelling and bruising should fully subside about one month after the procedure. After this time, the results should be visible but it may take up to three months to see final results.

How long will I see improvement in my cellulite reduction?

Clinical studies have shown that patients demonstrate reduction in appearance of cellulite for several months after the procedure. Participants will continue to be monitored but given the relative time this procedure has been available, there is no current data on long-term results (5- 10 years, etc.).
